Unfortunately, due to the devastating flood event of 2022 which impacted the Tweed Shire and beyond, the gallery and Green Cauldron Panorama are closed till further notice.
The Visitor Centre has moved across the road to the former railway station building....now start of the Rail Trail.

Located on the southern shore of the picturesque Tweed River at Murwillumbah, the World Heritage Rainforest Centre building was established in 1998. A major flood event in 2017 resulted in significant reconstruction of the building with the visitors centre and gallery space returning in 2021.

The Caldera Wildscapes Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week: 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm Saturday & Sunday Car parking is off Alma St (look for Visitor Centre flag and World Heritage Rainforest Centre sign) Entrance to the gallery is via the Visitors Information Centre |
Within the gallery are working artists along with paintings, displays, videos and gift ideas highlighting the Tweed's natural & social history, landscapes, and remarkable biodiversity.
